Goals

The goal was simple to work alongside Indie Campers to increase sales and to grow their business as a whole with the online channel.


After we analyzed Indie’s strengths and weaknesses, the market, the competitors in Portugal and Worldwide, the best standards for this market, and other important variables… we decided to make small tests across media channels and countries.

Results

In one year, the business grew more than 263%, and the fleet increased by 428%. The website conversion rate increased 53% and the average booking value increased 30%.

With this, we helped Indie Campers with the first steps of digital marketing to develop suitable growth strategies for the years until today. At the moment, Indie Campers is the leader in Camper van rental worldwide. Our work with Indie Campers led to WhiteKube being nominated and a finalist for Google’s “Search Performance Award” at Google Premier Partner Awards 2016 and 2017 for the EMEA area.

Our work consisted of a total definition of the company’s digital strategy company, as well as the implementation of this same strategy, with the creation
and investment management in Online Advertising and Consulting throughout the time. We focused on 5 main areas: online advertising, website structure, data and reporting, internal processes, and online marketing orientation. We started to make tests with small budgets on different campaign channels and types. This gave us the data and the answers to build an ads strategy and what to change on the website funnel to increase the booking rate.
